Records of the Westerly Precinct in Sudbury, 1722-1772

These are the warrants and meetng minutes of the Westerly Precinct in Sudbury. The Church in Sudbury split into the Easterly and Westerly precincts a bit less that the Town of East Sudbury was split out of the Town of Sudbury in 1780. East Sudbury became Wayland in 1835.

The Inhabiants of the Westerly Side of Sudbury was a term referring to the ministry and congregation, with the communion takers considered the church. It was a terrotorial parish, meaning everyone living on the land was a member of the parish and paid for the Minister.
